I have extensive teaching experience, both in EU competition law and digital regulation and other fields of law. My teaching style has been described by students as interactive and engaging, and I am always open to discussing the materials with students in a way that interests them. I have taught courses several courses related to competition law, including introduction to competition (BA 1), EU competition law (BA 3) and International Competition Law (MA). In the course Regulating Big Tech and Law & Technology (BA 2/3) I have taken a broader scope to discuss regulation in digital markets related to competition, data protection, and consumer protection. I have also taught a legal methodology courses (BA, MA), teaching students how to navigate EU law and how to conduct research for theses. Besides specialised courses, I have also taught Bachelor courses on general EU (internal market) law and international law (BA 2/1). I am currently developing a course on digital regulation at Leiden University, focusing especially on the DMA and DSA package (MA). I teach in Dutch and English.

In terms of professional education, I have been a speaker at a number of events including the CIRC Winter School, where I have educated professionals on the Digital Markets Act. I am currently also setting up a digital competition Winter School at Leiden University. I also offer a 1 or 2 day professional course on the Digital Markets Act and competition law in digital markets, and am in the process of developing an online professional course on the Digital Markets Act.
